Light, shadow, moments, and the way you choose to see them.
This is a relaxed, hands-on walk designed for beginners, intermediate photographers, people stuck in auto mode, those who’ve lost confidence, and street photographers who want to simplify and explore black and white in a more intentional way — or just anyone who wants to come along, be part of a safe, like-minded group, and have guidance on hand when needed.
We’ll take our time as we go. I’ll share how I approach things like exposure, keeping settings simple, reading backgrounds, getting closer, filling the frame, and focusing on what matters — based on real experience out in the field.
You don’t need a special camera for this. Any camera works. I’ll also show how black and white can be shaped in-camera, with editing and Lightroom explored further in a separate course.
It’s about slowing down, seeing more clearly, and coming away with images that feel like yours — learning through doing, with hands-on guidance as we go.
People usually leave these sessions having really enjoyed the experience and, more importantly, feeling more confident in their photography.
